Irvine Humanities Center) hosted a question and response-style webinar conversation with Ericka Huggins, educator and former director of the Black Panthers' Oakland Community School from 1973-1981.

Watch the Grand Opening artist roundtable conversation with former BPP members, M. Gayle "Asali" Dickson and John "Bunchy" Crear, West Oakland Mural Project director, JilChristina Vest, and featured photographer, Micherlange Francois-Hemsley. Tatiana Bryant, UCI Librarian for the Digital Humanities, History, and African-American Studies moderates the conversation. The webinar took place in the Orange County and Southeast Asian Archives on UC Irvine's campus and kicked off the beginning of Francois-Hemsley's 2-month exhibit at UC Irvine.
